Welcoming New Fellowship Delegation at the Crossroads of America

LAWRENCE, KS – January 9, 2011 marked the official beginning of the 2011-2012 Junior Faculty Development Program (JFDP) with the start of an orientation at the University of Kansas (KU) in Lawrence, Kansas. The JFDP Orientation was hosted for a sixth year by KU's Office of International Programs. The orientation served as the first opportunity to gather forty-two JFDP Fellows from fifteen countries of Eurasia and Southeast Europe, and introduce them to U.S. higher education and American culture.
