Closing Out - Academic Program

Hello!

JFDP Administrator

Hi Everyone,

I am ready for your questions about academic activities. I would like to draw your attention to the semester report. Remember that you have completed the volunteer activities as a draft so that we can look at your progress in scheduling/completing these activities. In this same section of the report, you can click the last question on the page to "activate" the rest of the report's sections. Your questions please.

Hi,
I sent my PDF report about SCOLT conference which will be hold in April 15-17. Do you confirm it and can I participate in the conference?

Looks like Amber wrote to you directly about this, but as a general aside, I want to remind everyone that the deadline for PDF reports is NEXT WEEK, APRIL 16 - no exceptions!

So, like Zarrina has asked, if you faxed a PDF report to our office, it is a good idea to write to us by email to confirm if we have received it (or not). This is a critically busy time for our office, and as you know, it takes a couple weeks of paper handling to get the PDF reimbursement check printed. As we approach the end of the program soon, when you may be closing bank accounts and traveling away from your host university, it becomes even more important that you give us enough time to process your PDF report before you leave.

professional travel

Serbia

Dear Denise,

Regarding professional travel, do we have some post-travel obligations, e.g. like writing a separate report, or an applicable part will be just included into the semester report?

Thank you.

re: professional travel

Andrea,

In the semester report section about professional meetings, conferences and travel, there is an open text area at the bottom of the page where you can report about your professional trip.

Those of you who arranged your own professional trip (to another university, or to a collection of professional meetings), have already submitted to our office the activity proposal and schedule. This information goes into your hard-copy files. However, it is best to keep the information all in one place together with your semester report. Therefore, my suggestion is to report on the results of your professional trip by including a summary in the open text question that I described above, or, you can upload a document to your online report, which includes your confirmed schedule and a summary of the results of your trip (similar to the activity proposal, but with more final details).
